The Vietnam memorial the World War II Memorial to Jefferson Memorial the FDR Memorial the MLK Memorial Day September the September 11th Memorial the Marine Corps Memorial we saw Arlington National Cemetery where we got a chance to pay our respects to president Kennedy and to see The Changing of the Guard and pay our respects at the Tomb of the Unknown we got a chance to see Mount Vernon you guys got a chance to use the same handrail as George Washington you you guys got a chance to either visit or see the outside of the the White House and some of the inside from The Visitor Center You got a chance to see the portrait gallery and the Smithsonian of American Art and that beautiful Courtyard where we had lunch got a chance to visit the National History Museum things like the Star-Spangled Banner Julia Child's Kitchen, first ladies dresses, ruby slippers a chance to go to the Air and Space Museum you guys got a chance to see National Basilica Shrine Basilica shrine stunning church that we got a chance to celebrate Mass in. We got a chance to see the Capitol Building. We got a chance to see the Library of Congress. we saw the outside of the Supreme Court and I might still be missing one or two things on there you guys got a chance to try some of the local restaurants and two and a half days 2 and 1/2 that is amazing you guys did such a good job and I'm so proud of you I also wanted to say thank you so much I had so much fun taking you guys around I love the way that you guys are really willing to actually like see the memorials and take in what Washington DC has to offer. Now there is a quote that I like to read kind of at the end of the tours because it talks about why do we, why do you come here and this is written and this is written in 1874 and it was a journalist named Mary Clemmer Ames and she said, "You may not own the cottage which shelters you nor the scanty acres which you till, yet these historic statues and paintings, these marble corridors, soaring walls,  this this mighty dome are yours." the right now the capital it is under the care of my generation your parents generation and eventually it is going to be your inheritance from us. Right now we are doing what we can save the things that are important and to add to things that we think should be remembered, but eventually that responsibility is going to pass on to you and you are going to pass that on to future generations. And that's one of the reasons why these trips are so important.  Because all of this, everything that we've seen it belongs to you. It is your heritage and is your Capital and it is your legacy. And, it is your inheritance. I'm so I really do want to say thank you for the way have embraced this trip chance to experience what is going to be bequeathed to you and what you are going to be able to leave to the future. Thank you so much. I hope you guys have a wonderful safe flight home. I hope you guys have a chance to sleep in tomorrow.
