Music Pre K – 3
The main curriculum focus in these grades is to get the students involved in music activities as a group. These groups work to perform activities as a team, following directions while singing or performing specific movements for certain music.

An introduction to music vocabulary terms also begins in class as early as pre-K. Teaching the students to understand music terms, symbols, and how to use them is very important even at these early ages.
The students are also involved in learning how to perform simple rhythmic patterns by reading the music. This is usually performed by clapping and classroom instruments.
Lastly these classes are responsible every year for putting on a Christmas program. This Christmas program has grown into something so wonderful including a play performed by the 3rd Grade, and songs performed by Kindergarten through 3rd Grade.
