The Academic Decathlon Team prepares as soon as the materials and content focus is announced. Competing against over 100 Catholic Schools in the Los Angeles Archdiocese, OLA came in 13th overall and scored 9th in the Super Quiz. The team took first place in our local deanary and second place in the San Gabriel region, congratulations to St. Felicitas in San Marino.
Mrs. Buffum and Coach Raus worked tirelessly with the team and deserve a HUGE thank you! The teachers, parents,and alternates that supported the team through coaching, quizing, and moral support were an invaluable component to the teams success.
