Dear OLA Parishioners,
As Catholics, we are conditioned and formed to believe in the supernatural and to believe in miracles. If we took a poll right now of everyone reading this article, 90% percent would surely say they have experienced a miracle or have had someone close to them who has seen God’s clear intervention or what we call a miracle.

However, if we were to ask the question differently, if we asked Do you expect miracles? the answer would be different. Why do we not expect miracles in our lives? Why are we not experiencing the love and mercy of God? Why is life so difficult sometimes? It is because we do not forgive. That’s right; the key to peace, love, and joy is forgiveness.

We all get stuck, not forgiving ourselves, not forgiving other people, and even not forgiving God. The key to true inner healing is through the practice of forgiveness. Through forgiveness, you can achieve emotional healing, healing of memories, and the healing of the family tree.
It is the joy that comes from allowing ourselves to embrace the humility that comes from accepting God’s mercy and love through the path of forgiveness. If you master forgiveness, the fruit will be miracles.

Come to the mission and expect miracles!
