OLA Academics

Following Archdiocesan guidelines, daily instruction is offered in:

Religious Studies
Language Arts
Mathematics (including Algebra)
Science
Social Studies

We also include classes taught by specialist teachers in the following areas:

Computer Science
Music
Physical Education

Daily homework is assigned to all students. Report Cards are issued three times a year. All students who achieve honor roll are recognized at school assemblies.

The Department of Catholic Schools requires a comprehensive standardized testing program annually. All students (Grades 2-8) will be given the Iowa Tests of Basic Skills (ITBS).
