Cub Scout Pack 403
Welcome to Cub Scout Pack 403. Cub Scout Pack 403 is sponsored by Our Lady of the Assumption Catholic Church located in Claremont, CA. Cub Scout Pack 403 is part of the Valle Del Sol District under the San Gabriel Valley Council of the Boy Scouts Of America.
The Cub Scout program is open to boys in 1st grades through 5th grades attending Oakmont Elementary, Our Lady of the Assumption School, Sycamore Elementary School and Vista Del Valle Elementary School. We also have scouts who attend other area schools.
Everything in Cub Scouting is designed to keep the boys active while achieving the aims of Scouting — citizenship training, character development, and personal fitness.
Every boy is assigned to a den: 1st grade – Tiger, 2nd grade – Wolf, 3rd grade – Bear, 4th grade – Webelos I and 5th grade – Webelos II. Den meetings are generally held twice a month 1st and 3rd Wednesday of the month with the exception of the current Webelos II (5th grade) that meet on the 1st and 3rd Friday of the month from 1:45pm to 3:00pm. Note that the den meetings are subject to change. The respective Den Leader will provide you with a calendar listing the exact dates.
Once a month, all of the dens and family members gather for a pack meeting under the direction of a Cubmaster and Pack committee. The Committee includes parents of boys in the pack and members of the chartered organization. The Pack meeting is held on the 4th Wednesday of the month, 6:30pm to 8:00pm. On occasion, the Pack meeting will not end at 8:00pm, you will be provided a list of dates and times for the pack meetings.
The Committee Meetings which are open to all adults meet the 2nd Wednesday of the month, 7:00pm to 8:30pm.
All meetings and events take place at Our Lady of the Assumption Church located at 435 Berkeley Avenue in Claremont unless noted otherwise.
